Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and assisting with moving services while ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in heavy lifting, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for transporting goods to various locations. Load and unload items with care, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients. Assist in packing, unpacking, and organizing items during the moving process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and equipment used. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during moves. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary for heavy lifting tasks.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. Previous warehouse experience is preferred for understanding logistics operations. Valid commercial driving experience with a clean driving record is essential. Proficiency in operating box trucks and other delivery vehicles. Experience as a delivery driver or in route driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of moving techniques and equipment operation (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is beneficial.
