Job Description

As the Mountain Outfitters coffee shop lead hand, you will support the manager and supervisor in the fluid operation of the mountain outfitters coffee bar. You will lead and motivate a team of individuals whose focus is to ensure that our guests' expectations are exceeded!



Essential Functions

Train, motivate, recognize, and provide feedback to staff. Training staff in proper procedures and policies and maintaining a high standard throughout the season. Responsible for staff adherence to panorama policies and procedures Continually strive to exceed guests' expectations. Preparation and dispensing of a wide variety of products, including ice cream, beer, pop, pastries, espresso coffee, souvenirs etc. Provide immediate response to product and service shortfalls. Delivery of quality products on a consistent basis Responsible for opening & closing duties related to store operation. Operate a computer POS system and all related procedures. Perform daily operational routines and all related procedures (merchandising, restocking, cleanliness, check list, etc.) Maintain store inventory and all related paperwork, including ordering & receiving - maintaining par stocks & product rotation. Adhere to all security procedures involving cash handling, theft, liability, and premises. Must be able to work unsupervised for long periods. Demonstrate knowledge of all Panorama products and services Learn and demonstrate knowledge of sales training and related steps.

Experience/Requirements:

Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic towards Guests and peers High School diploma 2 years cafe/barista experience Previous cash handling experience Computer literate Working on your feet in the store for long periods of time Lifting and moving of boxes and product, up to 50 lbs Serving it Right Certificate * Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in B.C.
