At Bardel, our greatest asset is our people. The motion graphics artist uses approved designs to create dynamic on-screen graphics. What you will be doing:
- Create Animated UI\'s for computer screens and vehicle consoles appearing inside our CG shows
- Create animated inserts in After Effects
- Create animated titles sequences and particles inside After Effects
- Discuss with the CG Supervisor and the Art Director on the visual to achieve in the final frames
- Ensure continuity across the shots in a sequence
- Be able to create 2.5D and 3D insert to use in compositing
- Work with the Compositing Supervisor on how to transfer the work of motion graphics into the final frames
- Communicate problems and show stoppers to the lead or supervisor to get them resolved in a timely fashion
- Execute the reviews requested by the Supervisor and the Director by showing an analytic and proactive mind
- Quality Check your work to ensure a correct output to compositing
- Maintain timing and production quotas given by the production coordinator by looking at a Shotgun Dashboard
- Organize work and prepare dailies for presentation
- Demonstrates good written and verbal communication, and exhibits a collaborative, supportive approach to working with other team members.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as motion graphic artist in a film production environment / animation TV series or commercials
- Great Knowledge of Adobe After Effects
- Good Knowledge of Foundry Nuke
- Keen eye to detail
- Bachelor of Fine Arts or CGI related Diploma is a plus
