Motion Graphic Designer and Project Coordinator

The Motion Graphic Designer and Project Coordinator, or as we like to say, a Digital Sorcerer.

We\'re looking for a creative visual specialist to join our diverse & vibrant team. R\xc3\xbcmi is a bright new member of the ATCO family and operates multple lines of business under the R\xc3\xbcmi umbrella: R\xc3\xbcmi Home Services, ATCOenergy, Blue Flame Kitchen and Fresh Bites.

The fierce and friendly marketing team works to support all three lines of business through digital and traditional marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, and brand development. Working as part of the R\xc3\xbcmi Marketing team and reporting to the Senior Creative Producer, this position will support marketing and communications projects related to all lines of business. This role focuses on motion graphics and video project coordination.

What you\'re great at:

• Creating visually stunning motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms using video software, such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Incorporating typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content
• Adapting and optimize motion graphics for different technical specs to ensure seamless playback on digital platforms
• Ensuring production schedules are met and within budget
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Showing a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality motion graphic deliverables that meet and exceed client requirements and exceed expectations
• Working with the Senior Advisor, Brand, to ensure all brand guidelines are up to date and appropriately distributed while contributing to the development and standardization of design and style elements
• Working with the Creative Lead and the ATCOenergy Marketing Lead to coordinate priorities and deliverables for all ATCOenergy marketing campaigns
• Creating project managing production timelines, coordinating approval cycles, archiving final working files, and trafficking final deliverables to third-party partners and media outlets
• Becoming a subject matter expert in the Marketing team\'s project management tool to maintain, train others, provide solutions to utilize the tool better and streamline the production process
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining skills, and exploring new techniques in the realm of motion graphics design

What you have:

• Post-secondary degree in animation, motion graphic design, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years\' experience working in animation or motion design
• Strong project management skills
• Graphic design software, specifically Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate
• Solid understanding of design principles with a keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Deadline-oriented with excellent time-management skills and high attention to detail
• Strong team player attitude who can collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
• Desire and ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment
