Your Opportunity:In collaboration with clinicians, the incumbent develops clinical software programs, oversees their implementation and application on the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN). The incumbent is responsible for the safe operation of the CAREN for the provision of clinical care and to oversee its regular maintenance. Patients from all the age groups served by GRH clinics or programs may use the CAREN during their assessment or treatment. This role supports advanced rehabilitation or technology innovations that require use of the CAREN system. The incumbent is the principal link between the GRH and the CAREN manufacturer and the national and global user community. The incumbent also advises on and develops other rehabilitation technologies and may support other clinical research and innovation activities in a regular and coverage capacity. Support Research and Innovation.Description:As a Motion Analyst, you will provide rehabilitation support within a patient- and family-centered care model. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides quantitative pre-treatment and post-treatment assessments aimed at aiding clinical decision making. You will participate in program planning and evaluations and may occasionally lead program planning and evaluation projects. You may be required to supervise students.

Required Qualifications:Completion of bachelor\'s degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science program. Additional Required Qualifications:Degree from an accredited Engineering or Kinesiology/Exercise Science program. Computer skills including basic knowledge of a programming language, ideally Lua and/or D-Flow. Experience working in the rehabilitation environment with adults, older adults and children with disabilities. Preferred Qualifications:Ability to design and program scenarios and conduct sessions in a simulation environment. Ability to independently analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software problems. Ability to work, thrive and communicate in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment. Proficient interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
