We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our motel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. This role requires effective management of staff, budgeting, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Duties
Supervise and train motel staff to ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality.
Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes and handling guest inquiries.
Oversee budgeting and financial management to ensure profitability while maintaining quality service.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
Handle human resources functions such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff members.
Address guest complaints and feedback promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.
Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Supervising experience is essential, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management in a hospitality setting.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Proficient in front desk operations, including phone etiquette and guest interaction protocols.
Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations is preferred.
