Motel Chelsea is an exciting property that is a boutique art motel, a fine food and gift shop that encompasses our large heat-at-home line (Hibou Chez Vous) which originated in our first location, Cafe Le Hibou in Wakefield, a gastropub restaurant, and a robust event schedule of live music, comedy, drag shows, and more. We are just 15 minutes from Parliament Hill.

Assist in the supervision of front office operations and staff, ensuring efficient and welcoming customer service Key responsibilities include training staff, managing reservations and complaints, maintaining records, resolving issues, and contributing to a positive environment and budget control. Strong leadership, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this customer-facing management role. Pay is commensurate with experience.

We are a small property so the position involves being a Front Desk Agent and serving folks who come into our fine food and gift shop and coffee counter.



Further Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping

- Acting as a barista to serve guests at our coffee and grab and go counter, warming sandwiches in the panini press, making drinks.

- Serving guests in our fine food and gift shop.

Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer software
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
