The Role
As a
Mortgage Development Specialist
, you'll be the frontline ambassador for our loan products, focusing on forging initial connections with loan intermediary firms, individual brokers, and real estate development companies. Your primary goal? To identify and nurture potential partners who can channel high-quality loan demands our way, expanding our network and boosting our business pipeline. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role where your outreach efforts directly translate to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and Connect:
Identify and initiate contact with loan intermediaries (companies and individuals) and real estate/development firms through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and industry events.
Build Relationships:
Conduct introductory meetings and presentations to showcase our competitive loan offerings, tailoring pitches to highlight mutual benefits like flexible terms, quick approvals, and competitive rates.
Generate Leads:
Qualify prospects, uncover their loan needs, and convert initial conversations into active referrals or partnerships that deliver a steady stream of loan applications.
Collaborate Internally:
Work closely with our underwriting and sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs and provide market insights on emerging trends in construction financing.
Meet Targets:
Achieve monthly/quarterly goals for new partnerships and loan leads, with opportunities for bonuses tied to performance.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
1+ years in business development, sales, or account management within finance, lending, real estate, or construction industries.
Preferably with Real Estate agent license or Mortgage agent license.
Skills:
Excellent communication and persuasion skills (both verbal and written); strong networking abilities; basic knowledge of loan products and construction financing.
Personal Traits:
Outgoing, resilient, and results-oriented with a hunter's mindset. You're comfortable cold-calling, attending networking events, and turning "no's" into future "yes's."
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
