Job Description

RM Morgan Farms Ltd. are seeking two general farm workers to assist in rearing of livestock (cattle), maintain and repair farm equipment and buildings as well operate of farm machinery, when required.
 
The duties of both general farm workers will be as follows:
Feed and tend livestock (cattle)
Perform or assist in performing breeding activities of farm animals
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Follow food safety and security and animal bio-security procedures
Detect disease and health problems in livestock (cattle)
Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
Set and monitor water troughs in barns and pens
Maintain or assist in the maintenance of facilities and farm infrastructure including cleaning stables, barns, and fences
The employment requirements of both general farm workers are:
Speak enough English to communicate with employers and follow direction
Have a valid driver’s license
Class 1 is an asset
Past experience and machinery repair on any type of farm would  be an asset
Past experience with cattle
Previous operation of trucks and tractors
Able to perform physically demanding tasks
Drivers abstract and criminal record check on request
Willing to work in all weather conditions and on weekends as needed
Both positions are starting at $15 per hour but negotiable based on qualifications, and both are full-time permanent and will be based on Morgan Farms, NE 14-27-19.  Accommodations can be organized.
