We are currently looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join our team as a Montessori Teacher/RECE Infant Teacher.
Qualifications:
Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma (RECE) and be in good standing with the college of ECE's
A diploma from a MACTE or AMI accredited training center
Current and clear Criminal Reference & Vulnerable Sector Checks.
Valid CPR/ First Aid certification - Level C
Updated Immunization Record

Can communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively individually and within a team setting
Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills
Experience with planning and implementing programs
Job Responsibilities:
Meticulously manage the day-to- day operations of the classroom including, but not limited to: lesson instruction, daily recording, diapering, playground supervision, etc.
Maintain a hygienic, neat, prepared and organized environment consistent with the Montessori pedagogy
Develop effective relationships with parents and communicate with them daily
Provide a program that complies with Ministry of Education requirements for licensed programming
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times
Demonstrate sound knowledge of all relevant sections of the Child Care & Early Years Act
