Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities for children following Montessori principles
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular updates on their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in Montessori or early childhood education
- Strong time management skills to effectively plan and execute daily activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to educate and engage children in a variety of subjects and activities
- Familiarity with French language is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership skills to effectively lead a classroom
- must have certification in Montessori teaching
-must have or be willing to get current first aid/CPR training
