We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both French and English, with the ability to inspire students in their language learning journey. Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Teach French language skills including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning goals.
Utilize technology effectively in the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate French language learning.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student needs and achievements.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.
Qualifications
Proficiency in both French and English is required; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently.
Familiarity with computer operation and educational technology tools for teaching purposes.
Previous classroom experience is advantageous, particularly in teaching languages or related subjects.
