Montessori Directress / Registered Early Childhood Educator
Job Description
RECE and/or Montessori Certified teachers
Kinderbrook Montessori, Ajax, is looking for a Montessori Directress and/or Registered Early Childhood Educators to join the 'Kinderbrook' team.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have at least 1 year experience in a Montessori Environment
- Believe that the child will show true nature through working with the materials.
- Have the ability to follow the child
- Understands and complies with provincial, municipal regulations
- Be able to do progress reports
- Design a program plan that caters to the whole child development.
- Enjoys engaging in outdoor activities with children
- Enjoys creating art related projects with the children
- Be willing to engage in Professional Development opportunities
- Commit to preparing and maintaining the environment in perfect order
- Have patience and humility
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and hold a capacity to work as a team.
- Respond with sensitivity to the individual child's needs and have an ongoing communication with the families.
- Must be flexible and open to extended help where needed.

Montessori teachers must hold a valid MACTE or AMI certificate for PRE-CASA or CASA level.
RECE's : Must hold Early childhood Education diploma
and must be in good standing with College of Early Childhood Educators, Public registry.The above roles must complete and submit the following documents before their joining date:
Up-to-date First Aid and CPR Up-to-date Immunization and 2 STEP TB test Police Clearance Check - vulnerable sector
