About us

Regalo Montessori Private School is currently seeking qualified individuals to be added to our supply roster.

The Role:

You will collaborate with our two experienced AMI & OCT Trained Lead Teachers to provide robust support to the school, with a primary focus on the supporting the school operations, the Casa and/or Elementary classroom, and helping to supervise during our Aftercare Program, where appropriate.

The ideal candidate should possess qualities of patience, a nurturing disposition, and a genuine fondness for children.

The hours for this role will vary.

Responsibilities:

- Support multiple classrooms in an assistant capacity.
- Work 1-1 with children as directed by Lead Teachers.
- Work with team members to supervise children during Lunch & Outdoor time.
- Supervise & Engage children for Aftercare program.
- Assist in maintaining the school environment & operations (daily cleaning, classroom material prep)

Qualifications:

Essential:

Previous experience in childcare working with children aged 3 to 10 years old is a requirement for this position.

Preferred:

Prior training and experience working in a School setting (Montessori preferred).

Prior Experience working at Children's camps and volunteer experience showing
demonstrated initiative is a definite asset.

Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check completed, and Valid CPR certification are required prior to your start date.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
