SALARY: $49,166 to $68,718 per year (Pay Band 3) (Based on 37.5 hours per week)

JOB PURPOSE:

Talent Acquisition Coordinators are the support staff for all recruitment and onboarding activities. They handle scheduling interviews, coordinating the offer management process, and preparing for physician onboarding and setup. They are responsible for carrying out tasks in line with the talent acquisition strategy and facilitate a smooth and seamless integration of new physicians into the HHN community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a recognized post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a health care or related setting.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Good work record.
  • Written and spoken competence in English (B2.1 or Advanced) and spoken competence in French (B1.2 or Intermediate Plus) are required.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, department, and Talent Acquisition Specialists to inclusively support talent acquisition needs.
  • Post and manage recruitment advertisements on various recruitment platforms including placement departments of schools and universities.
  • Complete sourcing activities including resume searches and job ads.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, and facilitation of determination of licensure eligibility via the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
  • Coordinate processes and documents throughout interviewing and profile review processes.
  • Liaison with Physician Privileging Assistants to procure licensing and credentialing information.
  • Manage timely submission of documents by all stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment processes.
  • Maintain timelines, address queries, and manage multiple steps between verbal offer and offer contract signing.
  • Manage content for all offer letter templates and issuance process.
  • Manage all communication to external applications received directly to a competition, general posting, or e-mail.
  • Keep candidates informed of next steps, mandatory requirements and possible timelines throughout recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Coordinate with IT, leasing and admin departments to set-up new hire credentials, office spaces and login details.
  • Manage central database for all career fair events for initiatives supported under the Talent Acquisition Strategy including, but not limited to, campus recruitment, association, and nationally organized events.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and resourcefulness to general inquiries from new hire on any topic (i.e., expectations on first day, benefits, orientation commitment, salary, required documentation and purpose, etc.)
  • Act as a regional support for all engagement and recognition events.
  • Provide administrative support as required (i.e., team meeting coordination and preparation).
