HOURS OF WORK: Rotating Days, Nights, Subject to change due to operational requirements

SALARY: $35.34 to $44.77 per hour

JOB PURPOSE:

To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession\'s values of knowledge, theory, and practice. To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach. Attends all cardiac arrests and Advanced Care Teams within the facility once qualifications are met. Ambulance transfer duty provided for patients as required once qualifications are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse - actively registered in New Brunswick, or eligible for such registration
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a critical care area or completion of Critical Care Course, or two (2) years experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing and willingness to complete the Critical Care Course
• Ability to perform the duties of the position including rapidly responding to cardiac arrests and Advanced Care Teams called within the facility.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Good work record.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.
