JOB PURPOSEThe Program Director of School of Radiological Technology is responsible for planning, administering and evaluating the radiography component of the Bachelor of Health Science Program at the University of New Brunswick.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Health Science or a related field with specialized training in Radiological Technology.
  • Must have, or be willing to acquire, an Adult Education certificate.
  • Must be registered with the New Brunswick Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and certified in the discipline of radiology.
  • Must have six years of clinical experience and five years of teaching experience.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Good work record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Program Director - School of Radiological Technology is responsible for:
  • Leading the development and maintenance of an accredited radiography program
  • Ensuring the radiography program maintains its designation as an accredited program
  • Participating in the selecting, orienting, professional development and monitoring of instructors
  • Participating in student recruitment and selection activities
  • Ensuring coordination and collaboration between didactic and clinical instructors
  • Developing and revising curriculum including learning and assessment tools
  • Providing classroom and laboratory instruction including assessing student progress
  • Liaising with university, clinical sites and both internal and external stakeholders
