Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Molecular Biologist to join our research team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in conducting scientific investigations, analyzing biological data, and supporting laboratory experiments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced research techniques and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

Experimental Design & Execution: Design and perform molecular biology experiments (e.g., PCR, qPCR, cloning, etc.). Develop and optimize assays to study gene and protein function. Conduct cell-based and biochemical assays to validate molecular mechanisms. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze experimental results and interpret data to draw meaningful biological conclusions and identify next experimental steps. Prepare presentations and summarize research findings based on analyzed data. Molecular Techniques: Perform DNA/RNA extraction, purification, and quantification. Conduct gel electrophoresis, western blotting, ELISA, and other molecular assays. Work with recombinant DNA and protein expression systems. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Present findings in internal meetings and contribute to scientific discussions. Support cross-functional projects, such as target discovery or therapeutic development. Laboratory Management: Maintain accurate lab notebooks and electronic data records. Ensure compliance with biosafety and quality control standards. Manage lab reagents, instruments, and equipment maintenance. Research & Development (R&D): Contribute to the design and development of new molecular biology tools, assays, or therapeutics. Stay up to date with current literature and emerging molecular biology technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field. Strong background in molecular and cellular techniques, data analysis, and experimental troubleshooting. Prior lab experience in molecular biology research (academic or industry) preferred but not required. Experience with experimental planning and project management is desirable Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and shifting work demands Must demonstrate critical thinking and thorough understanding of laboratory techniques Must be highly motivated with the ability to learn and grow in the company
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
