SENIOR CHARACTER MODELER

Atomic Fiction is on the hunt for a Senior Character Modeler to create photorealistic, high quality organic models for an exciting upcoming project. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high quality assets with minimal direction and in an efficient manner.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create complex, film-quality, 3D organic models to a project\xe2\x80\x99s particular specifications;
• Follow design reference accurately and work in a wide range of styles;
• Work within studio best practices, follow guidelines, and keep scenes clean and organized.
• Prioritize and revise work based on direction from supervisors;
• Work with Modeling team, to maintain continuity; as well as, support other asset departments to ensure information is communicated throughout the pipeline;
• Mentor and help train Junior Modelers;
• Multitasking while working on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Ability to balance quick turnaround while achieving high degree of aesthetic quality.

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience in creating photo realistic organic models for film;
• Experience working from 2D reference as well as cyberscan and motion capture data;
• Experience in UV mapping;
• Expert level in Maya, as well as experience in other software packages;
• Strong sense of scale, form, weight and volume;
• Thorough understanding of traditional art skills (Form, anatomy, topology, color theory)
• Excellent attention to detail when finalizing and quality controlling assets;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills;
• Strong attention to detail and follow through.

Atomic Fiction est \xc3\xa0 la recherche d\'un Modeleur de Caract\xc3\xa8re Senior pour cr\xc3\xa9er des mod\xc3\xa8les photor\xc3\xa9alismes et de haute qualit\xc3\xa9 pour un projet int\xc3\xa9ressant \xc3\xa0 venir. Le candidat id\xc3\xa9al sera en mesure de fournir un travail de haute qualit\xc3\xa9 de mani\xc3\xa8re autonome et efficace.

Principales t\xc3\xa2ches et responsabilit\xc3\xa9s :

• Cr\xc3\xa9er des mod\xc3\xa8les 3D organiques de qualit\xc3\xa9 cin\xc3\xa9matographique les sp\xc3\xa9cifications particuli\xc3\xa8res d\'un projet ;
• Suivez la r\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence de conception avec pr\xc3\xa9cision et travaillez dans une large gamme de styles;
• Travailler dans les meilleures pratiques du studio, suivre les directives et garder les sc\xc3\xa8nes propres et organis\xc3\xa9es ;
• Prioriser et r\xc3\xa9viser le travail en fonction des directives des superviseurs ;
• Travailler avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipe pour maintenir la continuit\xc3\xa9, ainsi que de soutenir d\'autres services d\'actifs afin de s\'assurer que les informations sont communiqu\xc3\xa9es dans tout le pipeline ;
• Mentor et aidez les modeleurs juniors ;
• Capable d\'effectuer plusieurs t\xc3\xa2ches et travailler sur des projets simultan\xc3\xa9ment ;
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 d\'\xc3\xa9quilibrer le redressement rapide tout en obtenant un haut degr\xc3\xa9 de qualit\xc3\xa9 esth\xc3\xa9tique.

Les qualifications comprennent :

• Un minimum de cinq (5) ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans la cr\xc3\xa9ation de mod\xc3\xa8les de haute r\xc3\xa9solution et photos r\xc3\xa9alistes pour les longs m\xc3\xa9trages ;
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de travail \xc3\xa0 partir de la r\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence 2D ainsi que cyberscan et capture de mouvement des donn\xc3\xa9es ;
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 de faire la cartographie UV ;
• Niveau expert dans Maya, ainsi que l\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans d\'autres logiciels ;
• Forte sensation d\'\xc3\xa9chelle, de forme, de poids et de volume ;
• Compr\xc3\xa9hension approfondie des comp\xc3\xa9tences artistiques traditionnelles (Forme, anatomie, topologie, th\xc3\xa9orie des couleurs) ;
• Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en organisation ;
• Souci du d\xc3\xa9tail et suivi.
