The Zone Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities and job performance of Security guards assigned to all sites belonging to Paladin. The Zone Supervisor is expected to represent Paladin Security Group while on the road and/or respective client sites.Job Skills / RequirementsEssential Job Functions:

• Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training
• Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
• Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site security policies and procedures
• Ensures all Security Guards and Team Leaders have received the mandatory training
• Motivates staff and issues commendations
• Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed onto head office
• Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints

Investigate alarm responses and respond in a timely manner * Communicates any concerns/issues with Paladin Management.Any other duties as assigned.Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard license
• First Aid & CPR - Level C
• Vulnerable Sector Check
• COVID Vaccination Status & Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2)
• Must possess a valid G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years.
• Must provide clean drivers abstract from last 3 years
• At least two years security experience preferably in a Team Lead role
• Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service along with good computer abilities are all core requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, Municipal laws and By-laws
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB pre-employment certification training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
