Servus is growing! We are currently looking for Member Service Representatives on our Mobile Support Team.
Servus\'s customers are also our member-owners, so we call our Customer Service Representatives, Member Service Representatives. Reporting to the Team Lead of Mobile Support, you play a vital role as the face of our Credit Union. As a first point of contact in branch, you will provide a personalized and friendly experience for each member responding to their inquiries, identifying financial needs, and providing recommendations for Servus products. *A valid drivers license and vehicle ownership is critical as this role requires the successful candidate to be mobile to travel in Red Deer and surrounding branches (within 1 hour distance)* Employment Status: Part Time Permanent Hours: Guaranteed 20 hours per week

Compensation: $20.07 \xe2\x80\x93 25.08 per hour Closing Date: March 24, 2023 Openings: 2 Additional Information: Mobile Support position is an entry level role into our organization. This position requires employees to be flexible and mobile to service all branch locations in the Red Deer and surrounding areas (within 1 hour distance). In addition, a requirement would be to have a valid drivers license and vehicle ownership. Training: Instructor led/Virtual classroom/in branch (Monday to Friday), as well as a Tutor/Mentoring (Monday to Friday, or Tuesday to Saturday depending on location hours) opportunity to follow. Our training offerings are full time hours and require new recruits to be available to attend mandatory training the entire work day with no interruptions in attendance. More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing competent and courteous service to members, exceeding their expectations, and making them feel at home
  • With accuracy, processing member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan and utility payments, money orders, credit card advances, calculation of foreign and domestic exchange & cheque cashing
  • Understanding member needs and identifying opportunities to promote Credit Union products and services \xe2\x80\x93 referring them to appropriate team members and external partners as required
  • Achieving or exceeding assigned sales and referral goals
  • Resolving routine member concerns and complaints in accordance with our service standards and escalate issues where appropriate
  • Learning and applying knowledge of policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines while performing member transactions to mitigate risk of loss to Servus Credit Union
  • Contributing positively to branch morale and a cohesive team
Requirements To qualify, you must have customer service or sales experience, cash-handling experience, and a high school diploma. Although not required, the following experience, education/certificates are valuable assets:
  • Previous experience working with a financial institution
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
