Job Description
BPS K9 is looking for security professionals to join our reliable, confident, and self-motivated team of Mobile Security Agents in a Part Time position
Shifts: 12-hour overnights
Successful candidates will:
- Have a valid Alberta Security Guard License.
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver License. (or Equivalent)
- Provide full 3-year Driver Abstract history. (less than 4 demerits)** ( February 2019 to Present)
- Provide full 3-year Insurance Claim Report. (February 2019 to Present )
- Have their own vehicle to get to the office.
- Be available to start immediately or soon.
- Have previous Security experience. (an asset)
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Meet the physical demands of the job. (extensive walking, standing, stairs, and driving)***
- Fluency/proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
- Working in all types of weather. (sun, rain, snow, etc.)***
Duties of a Mobile Security Agent include:
- Driving a company vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws.
- Conducting foot patrols, securing access points, and removing trespassers.
- Reacting appropriately in stressful situations by remaining calm and non-violent.
- Being professional while representing the company and clients at all times.
- Completing detailed and accurate shift reports daily.
Candidates will be skilled in the following:
- MS Office Word and Excel. (Basic to Intermediate)**
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Safe and defensive driving at night and during snow/rain/fog etc.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
Wage: Guaranteed minimum $18/hour after probation (3 months)

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour.
