Job Description

We are hiring for a part time (16 hours) for our Mobile Patrol department in Kelowna, BC!

Position Available:

Sat & Sun: 1500 - 2300

Must have valid Class 5 BC Driver\'s License and be a resident of Canada for more than 5 years (due to clearance requirements).

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular vehicle and foot patrols
• Unlocking/locking gates and checking surrounding areas
• Responding to alarms
• Ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded in the occurrence log/incident form
• Contacting and liaising with police personnel if necessary
• Closely observe parking lots, stations, and platforms to eliminate as much as possible and report any occurrences immediately
• Provide superior customer service to clients and general public
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of and perform all duties with high safety standards

Your Must-Haves:

• One year or more in mobile security
• Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
• Hold a valid BC Security License
• Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Have a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
• Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills
• Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in varying situations
