Job Description

BPS K9- is currently looking to add a Full-Time Day shift Mobile Security Agent to our professional, reliable, confident, and self-motivated team.

Shift: 9 to 12 hours.

Hours: 6am to 6pm | 12pm to 9pm.

Rotation: 4 on - 4 off.

Successful candidates will:

• Possess a valid Alberta Security Guard License.
• Possess a valid Class 5 Driver License. (or Equivalent)
• Provide full 3-year Driver Abstract history. (less than 4 demerits) ** (February 2019 to Present)
• Provide full 3-years of Insurance Claim History. (no at-fault claims) ** (February 2019 to Present)
• Be available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays**
• Have their own vehicle to get to the office.**
• Be available to start immediately or soon.
• Have previous Security experience.**
• Fluency / proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Working in all types of weather (sun, rain, snow, etc.) whether indoors or outdoors. **
• Meeting the physical demands of the job. (extensive periods of walking, standing, stairs, etc.) **

Duties of a Mobile Security Agent include:

• Driving a company vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws.
• Conducting patrols, securing access points, and removing trespassers from client properties.
• Learning and following all BPS K9 policies and procedures.
• Reacting appropriately in stressful situations by remaining calm and non-violent.
• Being professional while representing the company and our clients.
• Completing detailed and accurate shift reports daily.

Candidates will be skilled in the following:

• MS Office Word and Excel. (Basic to Intermediate) **
• Critical thinking and problem solving for appropriately resolving issues and concerns.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.

Wage: Guaranteed minimum $18/hour after probation (3 months)
