We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the ability to work effectively on various plumbing projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities that include installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Perform pipe threading and assembly for different types of piping materials. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on construction sites. Assist in remodeling projects that require plumbing modifications or installations. Handle heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs.

Skills

Proficient in construction plumbing techniques and practices. Experience with welding and pipe threading is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and HVAC. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work. Familiarity with carpentry skills is a plus for remodeling tasks. Previous experience in construction site environments is highly valued. Commercial driving experience may be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment. Maintenance Person experience is an asset, showcasing versatility in various repair tasks.
