Duties:
Perform mobile phlebotomy services at various locations in Embrun and surrounding areas.
Conduct kit collections by drawing blood samples from patients in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Collect, label, and organize specimens accurately for secure transport to the laboratory.
Maintain precise and up-to-date records of patient information.
Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism and empathy when working with patients and healthcare professionals.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a phlebotomist.
Home care experience is an asset.
Proficient in ECGs + venipuncture techniques and blood collection using both straight needles and butterfly needles.
Solid understanding of medical terminology and laboratory testing processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient comfort and care.
