About the Role

As a Mobile Mortgage Specialist, you'll deliver personalized mortgage solutions, leveraging our client-centric approach and DLC's network of 100+ lenders. You'll work flexibly, meeting clients in-person or virtually, to drive residential and commercial deals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a deep understanding of financial services, enabling them to assist clients in navigating the mortgage process effectively. This role requires a customer-focused approach, with an emphasis on providing exceptional service to the clients. As a Mortgage Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their homeownership dreams.

Responsibilities

Guide clients through the mortgage application process, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. Assess client financial situations to determine suitable mortgage options and terms. Provide expert advice on mortgage products, rates, and terms to help clients make informed decisions. Maintain strong relationships with clients by offering ongoing support and addressing any concerns throughout the mortgage process. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications and adherence to regulatory requirements. Conduct negotiations with lenders on behalf of clients to secure favorable mortgage terms. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact mortgage offerings. Source and nurture high-quality leads through cold calling, referrals, and networking. Communicate with lenders, BDMs, and adjudicators to secure competitive rates and expedite approvals. Ensure compliance with BCFSA regulations, including accurate documentation and record-keeping. Build long-term client relationships to grow your portfolio and West Capital Mortgage's brand.

Qualifications

Valid BCFSA sub-mortgage broker license. Proficiency in English is required; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of building relationships and providing exceptional support. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective interactions with clients and team members. Solid understanding of financial services, particularly in the area of mortgages and cash management. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
