The Role: Mobile Crane OperatorAs a Mobile Crane Operator at our Precast plant in Armstrong, youll work on newer equipment like our 2018 Grove GRT880, 2021 Grove 880, and 2004 Grove RT-875.Job Duties (but not limited to)

• Operate Hydraulic Mobile Cranes up to 80 tons for loading and unloading of trucks. Stripping new precast elements off deck in morning with single or duel crane lifts.
• Perform rigging operations with all the cranes, hand rigging, and all other tasks as assigned to rigging team.
• Perform pre-operational inspections, including hazard assessments, identify rigging required for tasks, and calculate weights to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
• Maintenance of accessories & rigging.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Be able to effectively complete all assigned tasks unsupervised.
• Operate power tools.
• Do other duties in the plant when cranes are not operating.
• Adherence to Rapid-Spans health and safety program.

Requirements:

• Must have Hydraulic Mobile Crane Level B License or equivalent.
• Must have minimum 3 years experience working and rigging with Mobile Cranes.
• Must know all hand signals for directing crane operator.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry 50lbs repeatedly.
• Be able to effectively communicate with team members.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Be able to effectively solve problems.
