Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious

Mobile Crane Operator

to operate and maintain mobile cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety standards, and the ability to work in various environments, including construction sites, industrial facilities, and marine operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads safely and efficiently. Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on crane equipment. Calculate load weights and ensure proper rigging techniques are used. Follow all safety protocols, site regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Communicate effectively with signal persons and site supervisors during lifting operations. Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance. Identify and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly. Assist with setup and dismantling of crane equipment as required.

Qualifications

Valid mobile crane operator certification Proven experience operating mobile cranes in construction or industrial settings. Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and crane safety standards. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must have class 1 license to drive tractor trailer as well

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of hydraulic and lattice boom cranes. Familiarity with computerized crane control systems. Experience working in high-risk environments (e.g., marine, oil & gas, heavy construction).
