In this role, we rely on your expertise and dedication to maintain and manage a portfolio of client locations in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Additionally, you will be the go-to person to cover for other operators in various locations outside of the Lower Mainland, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities nationwide.As part of our team, we provide you with the necessary tools to excel in your job. You will be assigned a company vehicle, tools, and a corporate cell phone, enabling you to efficiently handle work orders and stay connected with clients and colleagues. Your exceptional organizational skills and good judgment will be key in prioritizing tasks and managing your workday effectively.   • Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems to maintain the properties in peak operational condition.
  • Effortlessly performs routine building maintenance and repairs.
  • Follow JLL safety guidelines and best practices and ensure all work is performed safely and complies with JLL industry standards.
  • Identify energy savings opportunities at facilities including system and operational changes that can decrease the property\xe2\x80\x99s energy consumption.
  • Work independently to plan work and execute assignments, with a minimal of direct supervision
  • Assist other trades and contractors as needed in the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
  • Interact with the client daily, building a good working relationship and representing JLL in a professional manner
WHAT YOU BRING :
  • 3+ years of building operator or maintenance technician experience preferably in a commercial, industrial, or retail environment
  • A clean and valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Parking space (preferably not street parking) for the JLL van as it remains with the operator overnight
  • BES Certification or SMA certification is considered an asset
  • Completion of a trade (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Power Engineer) is considered an asset

Estimated compensation for this position is: 65,000.00 \xe2\x80\x93 70,000.00 CAD per yearSalary ranges are based on market data, which is reviewed annually and includes consideration of geographic location.
