We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our healthcare team. The MOA will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing administrative support, assisting healthcare professionals, and delivering exceptional patient care. Duties

Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services. Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Handle correspondence, including emails and faxes, related to patient care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Medical Office Assistant is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous. Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
