SALARY: $35.69 to $45.22 per hour (Subject to employment status)
JOB PURPOSE:
Provision of nursing care to meet the individual patient\xe2\x80\x99s needs by utilizing the Nursing Process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
- Willing to learn Rehabilitation Care principles
- Understanding and sensitivity to the philosophy and principles of Rehabilitation Care
- Effective communication skills within Horizon Health Network and with patients, families, and the public
- Ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patient
- Understanding of and ability to implement the Nursing Process in the Rehabilitation Care Unit
- Demonstration of initiative and good judgement
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis
- Ability to perform the duties of the position
- Good work record
- Written and spoken competence in English is required
