Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team. The Tanker Driver will be responsible for transporting bulk flammable liquids in tanker trucks to various destinations for our valued customers. We are seeking a responsible and experienced Mini Tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a mini tanker to deliver bulk fuel to various customer locations.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the secure transport of fuel.
Load and unload fuel at designated sites, adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer records.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
Comply with all traffic laws and regulations
Daily Duties:
Complete a vehicle pre-trip inspection at the start of shift
Comfortable using computer tablets, scanners and other resources necessary to complete and monitor customer orders
Deliver and dispense fuel to customers in the lower mainland in timely professional manner
Maintain accurate records for daily transactions
Knowledgeable to answer questions and problem-solve and challenges that may arise with customer interaction
Excellent communicate skills for dispatcher and customers
Ensure proper care of customer vehicles - note any issues the customer themselves may not be aware of ( take pictures if necessary )
Be informative to customers and explain benefits of our delivery service ( validate their decision to use our service & thank them )
Surpass customers expectation for service and safety at all times
Qualifications:
Class 3 with Air Endorsement - clean drivers abstract with no at-fault accidents within past 24 months
Able to solve daily challenges with positive customer outcome
At times work both independently and as a team
Enthusiastic individual that is career oriented
Genuinely like people with excellent customer service skills
Some driving / delivery experience preferred
Physically capable to lift up to 70 lbs and mobility to move around as job requires
May be required to work some shift work - possibly weekends with sufficient notice at employers discretion
If required, able to pass a criminal back ground check & random drug testing
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
