Mineral Land Analyst
Our Oil & Gas client Downtown Calgary, is looking for an experienced Mineral Land Analyst to add to their team!
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Collect and compile data on mineral rights, land ownership, and lease agreements.
- Analyze geological, legal, and financial information to assess the potential of mineral assets.
- Conduct comprehensive research on land titles, deeds, and historical records.
- Identify and resolve any title issues, such as conflicting claims or encumbrances.
- Prepare detailed reports on title examinations.
- Review and analyze lease agreements, contracts, and royalty terms.
- Assess the financial implications and risks associated with lease agreements.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and mapping tools to visualize and analyze land and mineral data.
- Bachelor\'s degree in geology, earth sciences, finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred.
- Strong analytical, research, and data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of land law, mineral rights, and oil and gas industry regulations.
- Proficiency in GIS software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
