Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mine Manager & Site Supervisor to join our team! In this role you will be a Site Supervisor and Mine Manager for Parsons\' role for the Care and Maintenance of the Cantung Mine in the Northwest Territories.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

  • Work with the Parsons Project Manager in aspects of the fieldwork
  • Site supervisor responsible for all field staff and fieldwork during care and maintenance activities.
  • Direct and supervise annual freshet monitoring and response
  • Conduct required inspections of mine facilities
  • Supervise and carry out environmental inspections, monitoring and sampling
  • Responsible for all aspects of health & safety while onsite
  • Occasional operation of heavy equipment
  • Direct and supervise subcontractors and subtrades as required.
  • Work is rotational as follows:
  • Monthly environmental monitoring and sampling from Nov 2023 to Mar 2024
  • Fulltime freshet monitoring from Apr to July,. annually from 2024 to 2028 (working rotations, which will be determined)
  • Environmental monitoring and sampling in Aug, Oct and Feb from 2024 to 2028
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
  • Experience working on remote sites in Yukon and NWT
  • Certified Mine Manager with WSCC
