This position reports to the Sr. Mine Maintenance Planner.

What you will do:

- Professionally carry out duties following Nutrien safety principles and priorities

- Support all aspects of site safety systems, including the ASAP, OHC, and SIF

- Maintain knowledge of and comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policies and Procedures, laws and regulations

- Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement of Mine Maintenance Planning processes

- Be responsible for efficient prioritization and detailed planning of mechanical and welding maintenance activities required to meet the needs of the mine

- Scope work to ensure safety concerns, collaboration with other crews, and accurate time estimates are incorporated into job plans

- Work closely with the Mechanical Supervisors and Trades to ensure quality plans are being provided and seek feedback for how to make better plans

- Continuously improve and build Bills of Materials

- Support capital project planning

What you will bring:

- Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic/Millwright, Welder or a technical designation

- 5+ years in a progressive maintenance planner, scheduler, coordinator, or Supervisory role would be an asset

- Computer literacy

- Typing proficiency - Comfortable navigating and utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word & Excel)

- Ability to work independently and is self-motivated to help drive positive improvement

- Underground mining experience would be an asset

- Experience with Oracle eAM would be an asset

- Advanced hydraulics experience would be considered an asset
