Located at our office in Saskatoon, Nutrien has an exciting Co-op opportunity within Mining. Providing invaluable work experience in a growing company, this position term will begin in May 2024 for 16 months. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Mine Engineer, Mining.

What you will do:

  • Assist with various Mine Engineering duties and projects to support the Nutrien Engineering, Technology and Capital department.
  • Areas of responsibility will include: collection & interpretation of mine ventilation data, collection & interpretation of rock mechanics data, ground support testing, and report preparation.
  • This job will consist of both office (Saskatoon) and field work at the various Nutrien mine sites. Some travel will be required.
What you will bring:
  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree or equivalent related program with a graduation date of Aug 2025 or later
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational, communication, writing, and computer skills will be required.
  • The successful candidate will be a Geological or Mining Engineering student from an accredited university and will have completed three years of study.
  • Mining experience would be considered an asset but is not necessary.
