Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Millwright to join our team at our Pine Ridge operations. The Pine Ridge operation is located 15 minutes northeast of Winnipeg at 24115 Garven Road, close to Birds Hill Park.

What You\'ll Get To Do

• Oil and filter changes on screen decks, crushers, gear boxes, and hydraulic systems.
• Adjusting equipment settings, Changing, and adjusting drive belts
• Fabrication of parts for various applications as required, monitoring, and replacing wear parts.
• Must work with minimal supervision and able to work shifts and overtime as required.
• Working closely with Supervisors and Lead hands to monitor equipment condition and maintenance Scheduling.
• Lead Hand responsibilities as defined by Company Policies are also attached to this position.
• Participaction in safety training and meetings.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industry or in a construction environment.
• Mechanically inclined with aggregate production equipment.
• High level of ability with welding, torching, and fabricating
• Current WHMIS and Manlift Certification required.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in the absence of documented qualifications.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy loads, sometimes 75+ lbs.
• Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions
• Requires lifting, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing and pulling, working at elevated heights, at times in tight and awkward positions
