Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and driven
Millwright Supervisor
to lead and support our growing field team. This individual will play a hands-on role in organizing daily operations, interfacing with clients, and managing job execution across various industrial sites in the Lower Mainland.
What You'll Do
Begin each day at our Richmond shop
Pick up/drop off motors, gearboxes, and other conveyor components
Use CMMS software (MaintainX) to track tasks, inventory, and maintenance plans
Communicate with vendors and obtain quotes for parts and services
Prep trailers, tooling, and safety gear for upcoming jobs
Lead or assist in executing maintenance or installation jobs during client-scheduled downtimes (typically 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Travel to client sites around the Lower Mainland (occasional out-of-town jobs, 1-2 times/year)
Maintain a clean, organized shop and professional client relationships
Schedule
Standard hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Additional hours: Overtime required for evening downtimes and emergency breakdowns
Travel: Primarily Lower Mainland; occasional travel within Canada (1-2 weeks/year max)
What We're Looking For
Red Seal Millwright certification
Class 5 driver's license
Clean criminal background check
Own pickup truck (vehicle allowance or company truck will be provided later)
Strong computer skills (Excel, PDF markup, task tracking software)
Able to work independently and think critically to solve problems
Excellent communication and professional presentation
Comfortable with:
Driving aerial lifts and forklifts
Fall protection
Confined space work
Basic fabrication and welding skills
Basic electrical understanding (motor wiring, troubleshooting)
