Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time License Millwright to work for our client in Scarborough, ON. In this role, you will work under the guidance of experienced millwrights, learning and performing tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop the skills necessary to become a licensed millwright.
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
Location: Progress & Kennedy, Scarborough ON.
Shift: Monday-Thursday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Friday: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm

Responsibilities:
Assist millwrights in the installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Use hand and power tools to assemble and disassemble machinery
Inspect and test machinery to diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Keep work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
High school diploma or equivalent
Millwright certification program
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools for the assembly and maintenance of machinery
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and regulations.
