Millwright Maintenance Technician

Job Description
This position is dedicated to keeping production moving with minimal downtime while responsible for the repair and/or maintenance of equipment, within a high-volume Distribution Centre.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components of product and facility equipment according to safety and maintenance procedures and processes. Experience with conveyor systems, generators, compressors and industrial automation components would be beneficial. Participate in the preventative maintenance program for the facility Installation and modification of equipment Document troubleshooting activities, repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment ensuring all documentation (work order, logbooks, etc.) are complete and accurate. Participate in general maintenance work of facilities and assist other trades as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
Technical Trade Certificate or Electromechanical Certificate required and related experience an asset.Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment Excellent written and spoken English skills Use a variety of hand-powered tools & maintain a clean and orderly work area Expertise in areas like rigging, welding, and metalworking, as well as a strong understanding of mechanical systems Organized and methodical approach to technical work Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting skills Able to work well under pressure
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment. Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, etc.Location: Brampton, ON
