People Store Staffing Solutions is excited to be hiring Mechanic Millwrights for a well-established food processing/storage facility in Ingersoll, Ontario

Responsibilities of The Role Include:

\xe2\x97\x8f Inspect and maintain all processing and packaging machinery by carrying out preventative maintenance

\xe2\x97\x8f Respond to breakdowns and other work assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain equipment parts lists and manuals, determining necessary parts required for routine maintenance and necessary parts required for inventory to ensure maximum production time

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for maintenance shift log book as well as logbooks for: lockout procedure, equipment repairs, record keeping for preventative maintenance program

\xe2\x97\x8f Demonstrated skills in the installation of capital projects

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, conveyor/auger systems and electrical troubleshooting

\xe2\x97\x8f Must work in compliance with established HACCP, Food Safety and GMP protocols and report any concerns to your supervisor

\xe2\x97\x8f Must work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures and report all unsafe or unhealthy conditions to your supervisor

Qualifications Required:

\xe2\x97\x8f Post-secondary diploma in a related discipline (licensed millwright)

level 4 apprenticeships accepted
\xe2\x97\x8f Skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, welding, layout of work, electrical knowledge

\xe2\x97\x8f Mechanical knowledge of conveying systems, the knowledge of pumps and hydraulics would be welcomed

\xe2\x97\x8f Working knowledge of T.I.G. & M.I.G. welding, stick welding/plasma cutter

\xe2\x97\x8f Manufacturing experience preferably in a food manufacturing facility

\xe2\x97\x8f Prior knowledge of food safety and security practices

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong commitment to safety

Start Pay Rate for this role is $35.10/hr with incremental increases throughout your tenure. OT paid after 8 daily hours worked plus many other incentives!
