Certified Sales Rentals is currently recruiting for the position of a Millwright Journeyperson. The Millwright Journeypersons primary responsibilities include installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to equipment diagrams & specs, blueprints, and other diagrams. This position also requires that the Millwright troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test will be required as a condition of employment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recertify and repair equipment
  • Inspect machinery as it arrives, unload parts, and assemble with the safe and effective use of hand and power tools
  • Relocate unassembled equipment as it arrives, positioning the machinery and pieces needing to be assembled, using hoists, dollies, and trucks
  • Interpret diagrams, blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures
  • Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate production
  • Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed
  • Pull test equipment as part of recertification
• Processing jobs according to defined company policies and protocols
  • Providing details necessary to administrator for job number assignment
  • Reviewing, understanding, and completing work order
  • Ensuring all required parts and components for recertification are in stock or on order
• Work Area and Tools
  • Maintaining work area to keep it clean and tidy and to remove any obstacles that could present a hazard
  • Maintain all equipment and tools in clean and good working condition
• Assist in identifying low stock and supplies as necessary
• Provide assistance to other areas of the company, as required

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Journeyperson Certificate
• Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment
• Any safety-related training and certificates would be considered an asset, but not required
