Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring production efficiency, and upholding quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Duties

Operate injection molding machines and monitor production processes to ensure optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and repairs as needed. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operations and adjustments. Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with team members to analyze production issues and implement solutions. Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while operating machinery. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns related to product quality or machine performance.

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing, specifically in injection molding operations. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform industrial maintenance tasks. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage electrical systems. Experience as an industrial electrician or in HVAC systems is a plus. Welding experience is beneficial for performing necessary repairs on equipment. Knowledge of boiler operations may be advantageous in maintaining facility equipment. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential. Strong analytical skills to identify problems and develop effective solutions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
