Position Overview

The Maintenance Millwright will provide essential support at our Halkirk facility. This role involves maintaining plant equipment, including conveyors, bucket elevators, dryers, crushers, screeners, and baggers. The ideal candidate is a Journeyman Millwright who is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment, including conveyors, bucket elevators, dryers, crushers, screeners, and baggers.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Read and interpret equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to assist in repairs and maintenance.

Operational Efficiency:

Implement preventive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Coordinate repairs and parts replacements promptly and efficiently.

Track maintenance work orders, parts usage, and equipment history within a CMMS.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all safety and operational regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Collaboration:

Work closely with site operations to coordinate maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

Journeyman Millwright certification. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as required by management

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Familiarity with logistics and compliance processes. Experience with agricultural equipment is an asset.

Pay: $29.64-$47.42 per hour
