About the Role:



As a

Millwright - Assembly

, you will be a key contributor in the building, assembly, and troubleshooting of custom industrial equipment. Working closely with the Assembly Foreman and Team Leads, you will help ensure production projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities



Assemble, weld, machine, align, and rig equipment components as required Fabricate, install, and modify parts to meet project specifications Read and follow blueprints, checklists, and technical documentation Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs on new and used equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Conduct quality control checks and confirm all components are present Mentor apprentices and support other team members Align shafts, gear couplers, and pulleys to precise tolerances Manage inventory and support production and service operations Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs) Participate in the final release of completed equipment Contribute to process improvement and problem-solving initiatives

Desired Skills & Qualifications



Journeyperson Millwright certification preferred 3rd or 4th-year Apprentice Millwrights will also be considered Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of sound decision-making Effective communication and organizational skills Familiarity with shop technology and management tools Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and fall protection equipment Welding and manual lathe experience is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
