We are seeking a skilled and certified Industrial Millwright to join our established bakery located in Delta, BC.The Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain various food processing equipment. The role requires collaboration with the maintenance and operations teams, working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems. Temporary to permanent full-time opportunity with OT
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
Shifts: 9:00 pm to 5:00 am (Graveyard + overtime)
Wage: $35 to $45/hr + $1.50 night shift premium
You have Steel Toe Boots
Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting required
Industrial electrician ticket or equivalent, preferably RED seal

Read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
Install, align, repair, and move industrial machinery such as conveyors, pumps, fans, and tanks
Work with plumbing, natural gas burners, and continuous ovens
Maintain small gas-fired boilers and operate hoisting/lifting devices
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions
Maintain and troubleshoot power transmission, blowers, and hydraulic systems
Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, etc.)
Use machine tools (lathe, milling machine, etc.) for equipment upgrades and parts fabrication
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with MIG, Stick, and TIG weldingQualifications
Ability to read electrical schematics and PLCs
Experience with hygienic TIG welding of stainless steel (Aluminum is a plus)
Boiler operator's ticket would be an asset
Red Seal Millwright ticket would be an asset
Food plant experience
High School or Technical School education

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks like reaching, kneeling, and standing for long periods
