Job Description
:
We are looking for Journeyperson Millwrights to work a turnaround in Carseland, AB for 10 days, with Standard First Aid, CSTS (Construction Safety Training System), and Fall Protection.
What would you be doing?
- Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
- Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts
- Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings to ensure precise tolerances
- Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments
- Assemble all machinery and equipment by bolting, welding, riveting, or fastening them to pre-built foundations
- Perform preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation
- Complete all paperwork as required
Does this sound like you?
- Journeyperson Millwright certificate would be preferred
- DSP (DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER) or Contractor Options Available.
- 2 or more years' experience with turnaround work
- Ability to read and understand complex instructions
Perks of the job
- $43.50/hr. Journeyperson Rate
- LOA available for non-local candidates

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
