Selkirk Paving, a division of Terus Construction, is seeking a Millwright based in Crescent Valley, BC.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance in a timely manner
• Assist in completing all maintenance inspections
• Ensure all repairs completed are documented
• Record any equipment deficiencies
• Organization and scheduling of all repairs, inspections & purchasing
• Participate, accept and adopt the principles described in the company safety program.
• Must examine situations in light of the principles of the Code of Ethics.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Millwright ticket
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Millwright
• Strong technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to perform service on various equipment ranging from heavy duty equipment to small engine and parts
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask is a must
• Team player
• Proficient in computers / tablets for daily maintenance records, time cards, reporting
• Willing to work overtime, as required.
