Responsibilities
Perform reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Install, modify, and repair machinery as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety and company safety standards.
Collaborate with other trades and departments on projects.
Complete computer-based work orders and maintain records.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment and processes.
Support additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
QualificationsHigh school diploma required; bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field (preferred).
Valid Millwright Journeyperson ticket/license; Red Seal or food safety certifications (asset).
3-5 years as a Millwright in a manufacturing environment (must have), with experience maintaining automated conveyor belts, preferably in food or high-speed packaging industries.
Proficiency in PLCs, automation systems, and maintenance software (e.g., CMMS).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and maintenance management tools.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Available for rotational 12-hour shifts (6 AM - 6 PM, 6 PM - 6 AM, Weekdays and Weekends).
Employment DetailsSalary: Competitive pay starting at $40+ per hour.
